Terms of Use — SkinBrief
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using SkinBrief (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App is published by Vyrra, operated by Hadeel Ahmed (see our Imprint for full details).
2. The service
SkinBrief provides daily skincare briefings generated from publicly available weather data for your location. The App is currently provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features in future versions.
3. Not medical advice
The App provides general wellness and skincare information only. It is not medical, dermatological, or pharmaceutical advice, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Recommendations are generated from weather conditions, not from an assessment of your skin or health. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, and follow the instructions and warnings of any skincare product you use.
4. Weather data accuracy
Weather data is provided by third-party services and is inherently a forecast. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, and briefings based on it may not reflect actual conditions. In particular, do not rely on the App as your sole source of sun-protection information.
5. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App except where permitted by mandatory law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it by any means other than the interfaces we provide.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Statutory liability under applicable product liability law remains unaffected. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms for future versions of the App. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of protections granted by the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
